Rafael Correa de Lima

Professor Rafael (Known as “Gordinho” for being the little brother of Roberto “Gordo” Correa de Lima) brings over 25 years of BJJ experience and holds the rank of a 4th Degree Black Belt. Widely Regarded as one of the most accomplished BJJ instructors and competitors in the world Professor Rafael is a Black Belt World Champion and a 4 Time National Jiu Jitsu Champion of Brazil where he was voted the most technical fighter, he also had the fastest submission (12 seconds).

Professor Rafael was instrumental in the development of the World Famous Renzo Gracie Academy in NYC. Under the guidance of Professor Rafael, Renzo Gracie NYC grew to become the largest Jiu Jitsu Academy in the World with over 1200 members. Professor Rafael was also the Chief BJJ Instructor at Evolve MMA in Singapore. Professor Rafael helped Evolve Singapore become the largest MMA school in the World.

Gordinho also trained, helped, and coached many professional MMA fighters in the UFC and the IFL such as Renzo Gracie, Georges St Pierre, Roger Gracie, Rolles Gracie, Igor Gracie, Gregor Gracie, Renato Babalu Sobral, Andre Gusmao. Ricardo Almeida, Matt Serra, and many others.

Timothy Barchard

Professor Barchard holds the rank of 7th Degree Black Belt in Aiki Kempo, a Level 3 (Kru) in Muay Thai under Kru Mark DellaGrotte and a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Renzo Gracie. An inductee of the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame Professor Barchard is a three time National Karate Champion and a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World champion (seniors).

Professor Barchard  a multi school owner is known for running one of the most successful Martial Arts Schools in the country. Professor Barchard is on the Board of directors of Educational Funding Company and travels to consult with Martial Arts School owners across the world. Professor Barchard is also one of the MMA coaches of the Renzo Gracie NH MMA team which is home to numerous local MMA Champions.
